The Signing of Cooperation between FHUI and Justice Without Borders
Faculty of Law Universitas Indonesia signed cooperation between FHUI and Justice Without Borders on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 in Ruang Poernadi FHUI, UI Depok Campus.
In this case, FHUI was represented by the Community Service Manager Dr. Lidwina Inge Nurtjahyo, SH, M.Sc., while Justice Without Borders was represented by Douglas Maclean.
Justice Without Borders is a regional non-profit organization that supports victims of labor exploitation and trafficking in seeking fair compensation against the perpetrators, even after they return home.
This collaboration aims to enhance academic cooperation in order to strengthen migrant workers’ access to justice through increasing the capacity of the Women and Children’s Legal Clinic. Therefore, FHUI and Justice Without Borders agreed to work together to develop and establish a program to improve access to justice for migrant workers.
