Affiliated Professor Sumudu Atapattu Give a Public Lecture at FHUI
The Special Unit of Internationalization in cooperation with Djokosoetono Research Center (DRC) Faculty of Law Universitas Indonesia (FHUI) organized Guest Lecture Series: The Human Cost of Climate Change: The Role of Human Rights (05/07) which invited Affiliated Professor Sumudu Atapattu (University of Wisconsin Law School & Raoul Wallenberg Institute for Human Rights) as the speaker.
Affiliated Professor Sumudu Atapattu is Director of Research Center and Senior Lecturer at University of Wisconsin Law School. He teaches International Environmental Law, Climate Change and Human Rights. In addition, Affiliated Professor Sumudu Atapattu is also a consultant to The Raoul Wallenberg Institute Sweden.
The Raoul Wallenberg Institute (RWI) is one of the leading institutions that focus on research related to human rights (human rights ), business, environment, education and others. RWI is based in Sweden and currently has office and program representatives in more than 40 countries, including Indonesia.
In 2015, Affiliated Professor Sumudu Atapattu published a book entitled Human Rights Approaches to Climate Change: Challenges and Opportunities (Routledge, UK). This book examines the relationship between climate change and human rights comprehensively.
