Workshop “Preparing to Open Notary Office”
In the framework of the 94th Anniversary of the Faculty of Law, Universitas Indonesia, the UI Notarial Law Master Student Association held a Workshop “Preparing to Open a Notary Office: Tips and Tricks for Managing a New Notary Office” on October 19, 2018 at the Djokosoetono Auditorium FHUI, UI Depok Campus.
Presenting two speakers, namely Dr. Diah Sulistyani Muladi, S.H, CN, M.Hum (Chair of Cadre and Leadership Division of the Indonesian Notary Association) and Ashoya Ratam, S.H., M.Kn (Academician, Notary, and PPAT in South Jakarta).
In carrying out her duties as a notary, according to Dr. Diah Sulistyani Muladi, SH, CN, M.Hum., a notary was guided to pay attention to the principles that must be maintained, such as honesty, thoroughness, independence and impartial and safeguarding the interests of the parties involved in legal acts, providing services in accordance with the Law, preserving confidential information, good faith, fidelity, fairness and integrity.
In addition, Ashoya Ratam, SH., M.Sc., M.Kn, added that when you want to open a notary office, the notary must also pay attention in terms of comfort such as providing a reception desk, meeting room and bathroom. Because this is a form of our service to consumers.
