The purpose of this webinar is to find out the experience of non-governmental organizations in Indonesia and Timor Leste in handling cases of violence against women during the pandemic and to know the SOPs of service providers to handle cases of violence against women during the pandemic, and to know how responsive or adaptive the laws and policies are to pandemic conditions and how it is implemented.
Regarding the discussion of the Mechanism for Handling Cases of Violence Against Women during the COVID-19 Pandemic, according to Dr. Lidwina Inge Nurtjahyo, S.H., M.Si. that in fact, he and his team conducted research in 2018 in 3 countries, Thailand, Malaysia, and Timor Leste.
