University of Indonesia Got Into the List of the Best Universities in Asia

KOMPAS.com — Times Higher Education (THE) just released the ranking of the best universities in Asia (1/5/2019).

This ranking assessed through several indicators, among them are teaching environment (25 percent), research (30 percent), scientific quote (30 percent ), international lecturer/student/research (7,5 percent), and industry collaboration (7,5 percent).

This year ranking involving more than 400 universities from 27 countries in Asia.

In THE report, national universities in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Philippine have a significant increase.

Indonesian representative, University of Indonesia (UI), now ranked 133rd, up from 201-250 last year. I collect the highest score for university in Indonesia that got into the ranking and have the best score on the international view (52,9), research (20,8), and teaching (42,6).

These are the 5 University in Indonesia that got into the ranking list.

1. University of Indonesia
   Ranked 133rd in Asia based on THE with the following assessment:

   Journal Quote: 18,8
   Industry Income: 83.1

2. Institute Technology of Bandung (ITB)
   Ranked 201-250 in Asia based on THE with the following assessment:
   Total Score: 23,9-26,7

3. Bogor Agriculture Institute
   Ranked 301-350 in Asia based on THE with the following assessment:

   Ranked 301-320 in Asia based on THE with the following assessment:
