The University of Queensland TC Beirne School of Law Comparative Study Visit
Monday, February 6, 2017 – Faculty of Law, University of Indonesia (FHUI) welcomed comparative study visits from The University of Queensland TC Beirne School of Law Austalia on Monday (6/2) in the Professors Meeting Room FHUI UI Campus, Depok.
Deputy Head of School TC Beirne School of Law, Professor Simon Bronitt participated in this comparative study visit. There are thirteen students who participated in the event that carried out for two days. This comparative study visit was the first visit conducted by UQ TC Beirne School of Law to study the lecture system in Asia. In Indonesia, besides FHUI, UQ TC Beirne School of Law also visited the University of Gadjah Mada and established cooperation with the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) of Indonesia.
In this opportunity, FHUI Dean Prof. Dr. Topo Santoso, SH, M.H. conveyed, that up to date FHUI has formed partnerships with two universities in Australia, namely the University of Canberra, in the form of agreement on dual-degree program (SH / LL.B) for Undergraduate International Class and Charles Darwin University, in the form of Short Course. Meandhile, Business, Cooperation and Alumni Relations Manager, Heru Susetyo, SH, LL.M., Ph.D., presented FHUI history and profile. There were several agendas in this comparative study visit, one of which was lecture on Introduction to Law by FHUI Lecturer. Fully Handayani Ridwan, M.Kn.
