The Influence of Law No. 30 of 2014 regarding the Duties and Authorities of Bank Indonesia
Center for Law and Good Governance Studies Faculty of Law Universitas Indonesia held a Focus Group Discussion on the Role of Law Number 30 of 2014 regarding Government Administration as a Complementary to the Legal Basis of Bank Indonesia’s Authority and Duties (14/08) in the S & T Room of FHUI, UI Depok Campus.
This FGD aimed to gain a deeper understanding of the legal influence of Law No. 30 of 2014 regarding the Duties and Authorities of Bank Indonesia. The FGD invited two speakers, namely Prof. Dr. Zudan Arif Fakrulloh, S.H., M.H., who discussed the topic of the development of government actions in the Government Administration Law, and Dr. Tri Hayati, S.H., M.H., on the topic of the influence of the Government Administration Law on the implementation of the duties and authorities of the Independent State Institution.
The background to this FGD was the position of Bank Indonesia as an independent state institution referring to the release of Bank Indonesia from the influence of the Government and other parties. This confirmed Bank Indonesia’s position as very strategic and comprehensive in the framework of establishing and implementing monetary policy, regulating and maintaining the streamline of the payment system as well as regulating and supervising banks.
