Soft Skills Coaching for the 2018 FHUI New Students
Faculty of Law Universitas Indonesia held Soft Skills Coaching for 2018 FHUI New Students from 5-7 October 2018 at the Grand Cempaka Resort, Megamendung Bogor.
This soft skills coaching was the first coaching activity carried out by FHUI with the aim to internalize morals, values, character and integrity, providing basic training on the values of Universitas Indonesia, namely honesty, fairness, trust, dignity and / or respect, responsibility, togetherness, openness, academic freedom and scientific autonomy, and compliance with the applicable laws and regulations. Beside that, this activity also became a forum for sharing session with FHUI alumni who have contributed whether in the community, in the public and private sectors, in order to foster students’ soft skills as they should and open their horizons to engage in student activities, and make FHUI and Indonesia proud, and to instill the basic principles of noble values; ethics; moral; and integrity.
Through talk show activity as many as 409 new students participated in the sharing and discussion from FHUI alumni who were very experienced in their respective fields.
In addition to getting insights from the FHUI Alumni, the 2018 new students also conducted community service activities and FHUI Cares for the Environment. This activity was a form of service for the 2018 new students to the surrounding community.
Not only equipped with material and direct practice through community service and FHUI Cares for the Environment, in this soft skill coaching, new students also conduct outbound and games activities in order to maintain the togetherness of new 2018 FHUI students and to instill the basic values of UI (honesty, fairness, trust, dignity and / or respect, responsibility, togetherness, openness, academic freedom and scientific autonomy, as well as compliance with applicable laws and regulations).
The peak of a series of soft skills coaching activities were dinner and bonfire. The bonfire was lit while singing songs together, FHUI Hymn and March.
