Police: Cyber Security is the Most Important in Digital Business
JAKARTA, NNC – Faculty Law Universitas Indonesia (FHUI) held a seminar as a part of the 94th FHUI Anniversary. The event which took the theme of “Legal Solution to Protect Digital Business from Cyber Risk” was held at the FHUI Convention Center, Depok on Tuesday (02/10/2018).
Inkoppol Transportation Division Head, Inspector General (Ret.) Mudji Waluyo said, in digital business cyber security is very important so that the account is not easily hacked.
“We have to secure the account so that it won’t be easily hacked. How to secure it is the most important,” Mudji said at the seminar on Tuesday (10/10/2018).
Furthermore, Head of Sub Directorate Cyber Crime Metro Police Special Crime Investigation Directorate (Ditreskrimsus), AKBP Roberto Pangaribuan said, cybercrime problems can occur anywhere because they are borderless, and can happen to anyone because they are anonymous.
“Last year there were 1,800 reports we received on cybercrime cases at Polda Metro Jaya, and we can solve 700 cases,” Roberto said as a source person on the seminar.
Meanwhile, Triyono Gani from OJK said, when we enter the internet world, life will change. At this time we cannot avoid the need for the internet.
In essence, Triyono continued, technological development has been advanced so it must be realized.
“All applications that are submitted to the OJK, we will evaluate how they work, the most important thing is all safe and a priority for customer protection. OJK also has IT specialists that can carry out inspections as well as actions, if there is a violation, especially related to cybercrime,” he said.
