Faculty of Law Universitas Indonesia held Financial Technology Seminar in Islamic Law, Economics, and Sharia Perspective on 08/06/2018 at Boedi Harsono Room, FHUI, UI Depok Campus.
This seminar presented four speakers, namely Dr. Oni Sahroni, M.A. (Fiqh Muamalah Experts), Dr. Gemala Dewi, S.H., LL.M. (Lecturer of Islamic Economic Law FHUI), Muhammad Budi Prasetyo, S.E., M.S.M. (Islamic Economic Expert), and Aad Rusyad Nurdin, S.H., M.Kn. (Lecturer of Banking Law FHUI). The seminar was moderated by Abdul Karim Munthe, S.Sy., S.H., M.H.
This seminar discussed about innovative alternative payment system. Most current payments are built on platforms such as cell phones, internet, and digital card storage.
This payment system has been seen to give hope or even growth that continues from time to time such as PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Wallet, Alipay, Tenpay, Venmo, M-Pesa, Bitpay, Moven etc.
In this seminar also discussed about Bitcoin in the perspective of banking law in Indonesia.
