FHUI Graduated 397 Students from Undergraduate to Doctoral Levels
A total of 3,950 graduates of Universitas Indonesia (UI) attended the Vocational, Undergraduate, Master, Professional, Specialist and Doctoral Graduation Ceremony of the Odd Semester of the 2018/2019 Academic Year. No fewer than 881 graduates successfully graduated with cum laude.
This graduation ceremony coincided with the commemoration of the 69th UI Anniversary, which was filled with a Scientific Oration by the Minister of National Development Planning / Head of Bappenas Prof. Bambang Brodjonegoro, SE, MUP, Ph.D. entitled “Sustainable Development for the Welfare of the Indonesian People.” The Rector of UI, Prof. Dr. Ir. Muhammad Anis, M.Met led the Graduation and Anniversary ceremony which was held on Saturday (2/2) at the University Hall UI, Depok campus.
In this graduation ceremony, the Faculty of Law, Universitas Indonesia sent graduates from Undergraduate to Doctoral Programs with a total number of 397 graduates.
At this graduation, there were 59 people who successfully graduated with the title of cum laude from Undergraduate to Doctoral Programs.
For the Undergraduate program, this year the Faculty of Law graduated 178 Bachelor of Law graduates, consisting of 83 graduates of the Regular Undergraduate Program, 71 graduates of the Parallel Undergraduate Program and 24 graduates of the International Undergraduate Program. In the Regular Undergraduate program, which succeeded in getting the cum laude predicate amounting to 17 graduates with the highest Grade Point Average (GPA) was achieved by Githa Dwi Damara and Patricia Cindy Andariani with a GPA of 3.78. In the Parallel Undergraduate Program, there were 10 graduates given the cum laude predicate with the highest Grade Point Average (GPA) was achieved by Bernardino Rakha Adjiebrata with a GPA of 3.66. In the International Undergraduate Program, there were 5 graduates given the cum laude predicate with the highest Grade Point Average (GPA) was achieved by Luther Lie with a GPA of 3.88.
For the Master program, this year’s Faculty of Law graduated 104 Masters in Notary and 109 Masters in Legal Studies. In the Master of Notarial Law program, there was one graduate who succeeded in getting the cum laude predicate with the highest Grade Point Average (GPA) was achieved by Oloando Kristi Tampubolon with a 3.7 GPA while the Master of Legal Studies program, there were 26 graduates given the cum laude predicate with the highest GPA was achieved by Angelina Egawati with a GPA of 3.88.
For the Doctoral Program, this year the Faculty of Law graduated 6 Doctors of Law.
The graduation ceremony is one of the important moments in academic life at FHUI and the momentum of FHUI to present quality human resources as part of the strength of the Indonesian nation after for some time forming themselves in FHUI to become part of a quality Indonesian society. The experience gained during studying in FHUI will be a provision in contributing in the wider community. More than all, FHUI graduates are expected to contribute solutions to any legal issues that exist in Indonesia.
