The FHUI Community Service Team chaired by Dr. Wirdyaningsih, SH, MH and consisted of Farida Prihatini, SH, MH, CN, Ghunarsa Sujatnika, SH, MH, Delila Stefanya Pusparani, SH, and Audy Pratama has conducted legal counseling activities related to sharia contracts, halal certification and brand registration to coffee farmers in a Coffee Village of Tebes Lues Village, Bies Subdistrict, Central Aceh Regency on 29 October 2018. The activity was attended by the Central Aceh District Agriculture and Plantation Service. The speaker was brought in directly from the Gayo Coffee farmer who had succeeded in the Central Aceh Regency area, namely Salmy Lahmuddin.
The material provided by the organizers was delivered in a casual language so that the farmers were able to absorb it well. Mr. Salmy’s figure who was very inspiring and kind gave motivation to farmers to study for free with him about brewing coffee at @galerikopiindonesia.
This activity was very welcomed by farmers and the Central Aceh District Agriculture and Plantation Service. Hopefully, this activity can continue given the great potential of Tebes Lues Village as an agrotourism area and producer of one of the best coffee beans in the world.
