Who are we?
Adaro Energy Group (“Adaro”) is an Indonesian vertically integrated energy group of companies that owns and operates an integrated “pit to port to power” business model through its ultimate holding company, PT Adaro Energy Tbk, a publicly listed company at the Indonesia Stock Exchange, and its more than forty (40) subsidiaries. Adaro is fully dedicated to own, build and operate a power business fit for the future of Indonesia, creating and making use of synergies among our coal production, mining services and land, and marine logistic supply chain, from the pits of our coal mines, through our ports and terminal operations, to our power generation facilities.
Adaro Group Legal Services (“AGLS”) is a corporate function within PT Adaro Energy Tbk, comprising of more than thirty (30) professionally appraised lawyers who are placed at Adaro’s key operational centers in Jakarta, Tanjung (South Kalimantan) and abroad, that is entrusted and assigned to handle and administer all legal affairs of Adaro.
What are we looking for?
AGLS wishes to invite potential qualified participants to a three (3) months internship program organized by AGLS (“AGLS Internship Program”). We are therefore seeking for candidates who excel academically, strongly committed and possess good work ethics to participate in the AGLS Internship Program. If you are (i) in your 6-8th semester or have just recently graduated, and (ii) have a GPA of at least 3.25, you may be well placed to be qualified.

Why should you join?
The AGLS Internship Program gives real-life working experience in a productive and interesting corporate environment of a publicly-listed blue chip group. The AGLS Internship Program is designed to enable participants to have a taste of working in a law-firm-like setting. The program requires participants to directly deal and confront with challenges of the legal profession by protecting and serving the interests of clients of AGLS. It also provides an opportunity to apply knowledge obtained at law school into real practice and to implement legal research skills. The AGLS Internship Program is programmed to have participants work as and in a team work experience in a guided fashion. A number of outstanding participants of the AGLS Internship Program have ultimately been offered a place within AGLS after successful completion of the AGLS Internship Program.
