Following sexual violence at some universities, two lecturers of Universitas Indonesia launched a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) pocketbook for handling sexual violence cases on campus.
The book explained the definition of sexual violence that had referred to the definition in the Draft Act on the Elimination of Sexual Violence (PKS Bill), counseling for victims, and campus responsibilities.
Dr. Lidwina Inge, S.H., M.Si from Faculty of Law UI and Dr. LG Saraswati Putri, M.Hum form Faculty of Humanities UI wrote the book because of the absence of special SOPs that made it difficult to advocate and deal with cases of sexual violence on campus.
