Seminar on “Nuptial Agreement and Child Custody in Mixed Marriage and International Private Law Draft as Preparations for Indonesia to face ASEAN One Community”
The Faculty of Law Universitas Indonesia held a Seminar on “Nuptial Agreement and Child Custody in Mixed Marriage and International Private Law Draft as Preparations for Indonesia to face ASEAN One Community” on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at the Djokosoetono FHUI Convention Center, UI Depok Campus.
In this seminar presented three speakers, namely Prof. Dr. Zulfa Djoko Basuki, SH, MH, Dr. Ike Farida, SH, MH, and Tiurma M. Pitta Allagan, SH, MH
Prof. Dr. Zulfa Djoko Basuki, SH, MH explained about Child Custody in Mixed Marriage, International conventions relating to Child Custody, especially The Hague Convention on Civil Aspect on International Child Abduction and explained cases and analysis and discussion of Child Custody in Indonesia.
Dr. Ike Farida, SH, MH explained about the nuptial agreement in a mixed marriage, the background for filing a judicial application for the Nuptial Agreement in Law No. 1 of 1974, concerning other issues still faced by Indonesian citizens as one of the couple of mixed marriages as well as describing cases and analysis and discussion of the Nuptial Agreement in Indonesia.
Tiurma M. Pitta Allagan, SH, MH, explained the Indonesian International Private Law Draft and its current development, the International Convention that needs to be considered in connection with the International Private Law Draft, especially ASEAN.
