Seminar: Quo Vadis on Governance of Indonesian Regulations?
The field of State Administrative Law Studies Faculty of Law, Universitas Indonesia held a Seminar: Quo Vadis on Governance of Indonesian Regulations? on Thursday, November 1, 2018, at the Djokosoetono FHUI Convention Center, UI Depok Campus.
This seminar discussed the polemic and problems that arose when the Ministry of Law and Human Rights issued several Ministerial Regulations of Law and Human Rights RI (Permenkumham) which were considered to have passed the authority of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights in terms of harmonizing legislation.
This seminar invited speakers among others were Prof. Dr. Maria Farida Indrati, SH, MH (Professor of FHUI), Prof. Dr. Bagir Manan, SH, MCL, (Former Chairperson of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia), and Dr. Wicipto Setiadi, SH, MH, (Former Director General of Laws and Regulations of Kemenkumham) moderated by Dr. Fitriani Ahlan Sjarif, SH, MH (FHUI Lecturer).
It is expected that this seminar can get input, suggestions, conclusions, and recommendations from various elements of society while providing education on the issues raised, namely “Quo Vadis on Governance of Indonesian Regulations?” along with alternative solutions.
