#PulangKampus: UI Law Graduates Coming Home
Faculty of Law Universitas Indonesia (FHUI) has been established for almost a century since its first inception in 1924 and has produced thousands of alumni who contribute to the development of the country. The real contribution of alumni in the public and private sectors is realized not only in the field of law, but also in other various professions such as journalists, academicians and musicians. The existence of alumni who spread in various fields is necessary to be maintained its good relations between the alma mater and with fellow alumni.
To build good relationships between alumni and the alma mater, the Special Unit for Alumni Relations Improvement held, “#PulangCampus: UI Law Graduates Coming Home” from 23 April 2018 to 27 April 2018, at FHUI Depok Campus.
With the theme “From Alumni, By Alumni, To FHUI,” this event was held to become a moment of togetherness between the alumni and the alma mater.
With this event, those alumni who are already working are expected to return to our beloved campus to share knowledge, experience and strengthen relationship among fellow academicians of Faculty of Law Universitas Indonesia.
During the weeklong event, there were a series of activities that have been held. The core of this event was in the form of three main events they were scientific activities such as seminar or public discussion on legal issues, social events and entertainment events as the highlight of the event. One of the activities held was a law seminar on Monday as part of the pre-event of “2 Decade of FHUI 98” celebration.
As the peak event of UI Law Graduate Coming Home 2018, an entertainment event was held for all academicians Faculty of Law Universitas Indonesia and of course for alumni Faculty of Law Universitas Indonesia. The entertainment event presented music performance from Kadri M, Elfonda “Once” Mekel, Prof. Dr. Agus Sardjono, SH, MH, JMono, Selasar Band (FHUI 2006), D’Pasca Band, Rechtovibe, Law Art Performers and dance performance by Law Art Performers FHUI. The peak event also presented a Legal Talkshow “Organizing Ecosystem of Indonesian Music Industry” which was presented by Mohamad Kadri, SH, MBA. (AKSET Partner, FHUI 84), Prof. Dr. Agus Sardjono, S.H., M.H. (Professor of Faculty of Law UI), and Elfonda “Once” Mekel, S.H (Advocate and Musician, FHUI 89).
