Aristyo Rizka Darmawan adalah staf pengajar Bidang Studi Hukum Internasional Fakultas Hukum Universitas Indonesia.

Biografi

Aristyo Rizka Darmawan adalah staf pengajar Bidang Studi Hukum Internasional Fakultas Hukum Universitas Indonesia sejak tahun 2021. Aristyo mendapatkan gelar Sarjana Hukum dari Fakultas Hukum Universitas Indonesia dan Master of Laws in Internasional Law dari the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy di Tufts University, Amerika Serikat. Selain pendidikan formal, Aristyo mendapatkan sertifikasi Public International Law dari Hague Academy of International Law, Belanda (2020).

Di samping menjalankan karir akademiknya sebagai pengajar, Aristyo aktif sebagai konsultan maupun melakukan penelitian baik di dalam maupun luar negeri, diantaranya : peneliti konsultan untuk Center for Humanitarian Dialogue, Singapura (HD) (2021), Konsultan untuk Korea Institute for Maritime Strategy (2022). Ia juga merupakan Member dari Pacific Forum Young Leaders Program (2020-sekarang) dan Youth delegation pada Our Ocean Conference (2022) di Palau.

Dalam bidang penelitian, Aristyo banyak melakukan kajian tentang Laut Cina Selatan dan isu-isu terkini tentang hukum laut. Tulisannya telah dimuat oleh berbagai outlet internasional, antara lain oleh Lowy Institute the Interpreter (Australia), Asia Maritime Transparency Initiative CSIS (Amerika), East Asia Forum (Australian National University), Policy Forum ( Australian National University), Asia Global Online (Hongkong University), Fletcher Forum of World Affairs, komentar ISEAS Yusof Ishak Institute (Singapura), Mongabay, Straits Times, Jakarta Post, dan Bangkok Post. Beliau banyak diwawancarai oleh dan dikutip di berbagai media internasional, termasuk South China Morning Post, The Australian, Associated Press, Radio Free Asia dan CNBC.
