Board of Management
Board of Management Faculty of Law Universitas Indonesia consists of Dean and Vice Deans, who have the responsibility of undertaking overall management function, the operation of academic, research and community service, overseeing academic community (lecturers and students) as well as maintaining relationship with alumni, both within the faculty environment and the society. Dean is instated/dismissed by the Rector for 5 years term, after going through selection process which is held both in faculty and university level. The following is the Board of Management Faculty of Law Universitas Indonesia for 2019-2023:
Dean:
Dr. Edmon Makarim, S.Kom., S.H., LL.M.
Dr. Edmon Makarim, S. kom., S.H., LL.M born in Padang, 10 May 1970. Edmon is a lecturer in Intelectual Property Right and Telematics Research at University of Indonesia . He has a bachelor degree in Computer from Gunadarma University, degree in Law from University of Indonesia. He has a Master degree in law from University of Washington Scool of Law, Seattle and followed it up Doctorate Degree from University of Indonesia in 2009. He is member of Indonesian Public Telematics (Mastel) period 2012-2015. Previously, He worked as main staff of Legal Division at Ministry of Communication and Information (2008-2009), legal advisory at PT. Sisindosat Lintasbuana Telematics Co (1996-1999) and as Assisstant Advocate at SHR Law Firm (1994-1996).
Vice Dean of Academic, Research and Student Affairs:
Dr. M. R. Andri Gunawan Wibisana, S.H., LL.M.
Dr. M. R. Andri Gunawan Wibisana, S.H., LL.M. born in Garut, November 3rd 1972. He obtained his bachelor degree in law from University of Indonesia (1998). He has a master degree from Master Progam on Law and Economics, Untrecht University, Netherlands (2002) and obtained his Doctor degree from Maastricht University, Netherlands (2008).
Vice Dean of Human Resource, Business Partnership and General Administration:
Parulian Paidi Aritonang, S.H., LL.M., MPP.
Parulian Paidi Aritonang, S.H., LL.M., MPP. Before appointed as Vice Dean 2019-2023, he served as Head of Research and Innovation Administration Office Universitas Indonesia. Active as lecturer of Insolvency Law, Competition Law and Intellectual Property Law in Faculty of Law Universitas Indonesia since 2004.
In performing their duties, the Board of Management is assisted with the Managers and Head of Units as the Management Support Element.
