Faculty members in FHUI are comprised of several fields of study. Field of Study is an organisation within the Faculty in which the faculty members are joined and grouped based on concentration and each expertise. Fields of Study are responsible in improving educational program and coordinating the development of courses and teaching method in each respective Field of Study.
Field of Study: Legal Studies

This field of study offers courses that focus on the basic skills to be possessed by bachelor of law candidate in sharpening legal reasoning before taking certain specific legal studies teaching elements. Among the courses offered in this field of study are introduction of law, introduction to Indonesian law and state studies.

This field of study offers courses that focus on the study of legal issues concerning the relationship between members of civil society such as laws relating to matters such as marriage, divorce, inheritance, agreements and so on. In this field of study it is also offered courses focusing on economic activities that specifically are the derivation of civil law such as commercial law, law related to investments and so on.

This field of study offers courses that focus on the study of law related to prevention and control of crime. The focus of this field of study is primarily a discussion of the criminal law (both substantive and procedural criminal law) and how the criminal justice system is enforced in relation to the eradication of certain criminal acts in the community.

This field of study offers courses that mainly focused on the matters of legal institutions in a country, especially Indonesia in relation to the establishment of a series of laws and regulations in accordance with the constitution. This field of study also contains courses that focus on the discussion of constitutional function as the signposts in the administration of a country and a system of power within.

This field of study offers courses that focus on the discussion of the administration of a state from the perspective of law. The focus of this field of study is to provide an understanding of how administrative procedures related to good governance must be in accordance with the proper rules of legislation drafting to follow the theory.

This field of study offers courses related to the conflict of jurisdiction across the states both in public and private matters.
Field of Study: Procedural Law

This field of study contains courses that focus on how the material law (substantive) applied within the judicial system. This field of study also provides a fundamental understanding in a series of the courses on how to undertake ideal court proceedings and in accordance with the legislation in court through moot court activities (quasi rechtspraak).

This field of study offers courses that employ an interdisciplinary approach to the study of law with interdisciplinary perspective such as sociology, anthropology and economics. This field of study also aims to foster a sense of social sensitivity to prospective legal scholars to not just be able to read the regulations and laws only, but also enable them to assess the relevance of the social relations that grow among the society.
