Rafiqa Qurrata A’yun adalah staf pengajar di Bidang Studi Hukum Pidana Fakultas Hukum Universitas Indonesia.

Biografi

Rafiqa Qurrata A’yun adalah staf pengajar di Bidang Studi Hukum Pidana Fakultas Hukum Universitas Indonesia sejak tahun 2015. Ia memperoleh gelar Sarjana Hukum dari Universitas Brawijaya dan Magister Hukum dari Universitas Indonesia. Rafiqa merupakan Visiting Researcher di The University of Melbourne pada tahun 2016 dan di Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam pada tahun 2017.

Saat ini, Rafiqa adalah kandidat doktor di Asian Law Centre (ALC) dan Centre for Indonesian Law, Islam and Society (CILIS) Melbourne Law School – The University of Melbourne, dengan beasiswa Australia Awards.

Pada tahun 2021, Rafiqa mendapatkan penghargaan Australia Awards Hadi Soesastro Prize dari Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade atas risetnya yang dianggap penting untuk pembangunan dan kerjasama Australia dengan Indonesia. Ia juga mendapatkan Biennale Postgraduate Conference Awards 2022 dari Asian Studies Association of Australia.

Rafiqa menekuni riset dalam bidang hukum pidana, hukum dan politik, serta keterkaitannya dengan Islam dan demokrasi di Indonesia. Risetnya telah dipublikasikan oleh Australian Journal of Asian Law, Indonesia Journal (Cornell University), Third World Quarterly, Melbourne Asia Review dan Indonesia Law Review. Ia juga menulis analisis untuk Indonesia at Melbourne, Inside Indonesia, The Conversation dan The Jakarta Post.
