Tuesday, February 14, 2017 – Faculty of Law, University of Indonesia received a visit from the College of Law Ritsumeikan University, Kyoto, Japan, on Monday (13/2) at Professors Meeting Room in FHUI Campus, UI, Depok.
According to Former Dean College of Law Ritsumeikan University Professor Shinichi Ago, this visit was a series of visits to three countries in ASEAN, namely Indonesia, Laos, and Thailand. During their visit to Indonesia, 16 students of College of Law Ritsumeikan University visited FHUI campus and Indonesian Constitutional Court. This visit was the 3rd time to strengthen academic cooperation between FHUI with Ritsumeikan University Kyoto, Japan.
In addition to engage and interact with FHUI students, the purpose of this visit was to learn a short course regarding legal systems in ASEAN countries. The course presented by Venture, Cooperation and Alumni Relations Manager Heru Susetyo, SH, M.Sc., LL.M., Ph.D., and Chairman of the Djokosoetono Research Center concurrently Head of FHUI Publishing House Arie Afriansyah, SH, M.I.L., Ph.D.
