Monthly Media Discussion on Current Issues

 

This event is designed to discuss contemporary legal issues within society, either in national or regional level. The discussion will open for media/ journalist, in order to provide good analysis from legal experts to the public. The output of the discussion will be compiled and designed for publication (book). The discussion will be held monthly at the Faculty Law University of Indonesia (Depok Campus or Salemba Campus). The participants will be journalist, lecturers and students.

Center for Law, Society, and Development Studies
CLSD mission is to study the relationship between the law and the society and the nation’s development. Several research subjects that had been conducted are gender related legal issues, domestic violence, race discrimination, and legal pluralism. CLSD also promotes the use of sociological and/or anthropological perspective on legal issues.
